Brigitte Dias-Ferreira is Counsel, International Affairs for Deere & Company (John Deere) in the Washington D.C. office. She joined Deere Public Affairs Worldwide in July 2012. In her role at Deere, Brigitte represents the company on a wide variety of policy topics in Russia, the CIS countries, Europe, North Africa and the Middle-East, and Latin America.

Before joining Deere, Brigitte was Director and Corporate Counsel at Asurion LLC., a telecom insurance company, and prior to this Senior Counsel International at MicroStrategy, Inc, a business intelligence software company. Brigitte has also worked for the Dorsey & Whitney law firm in Washington, DC. In Italy, she worked as in-house counsel for a pharmaceutical company and as a junior associate at a law firm. In her previous roles, she focused on cross-border legal compliance, policy and regulatory issues, data privacy laws, legal transactional issues, negotiating government contracts, and anti-corruption measures.

Brigitte earned her Juris Doctor from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis in France and holds post-graduate Masters of Laws degrees from both the Université de Montpellier in France and the George Washington University Law School.  Brigitte is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
