WASHINGTON, D.C. - Bank Kontrakt, Kyiv, Ukraine, an independent bank focusing on the development of small and medium business, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today. The announcement was made on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 190 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine.

DAVID HOLPERT, PRESIDENT

David Holpert is President of Bank Kontrakt. David is a lawyer, CPA and businessman from Chicago, Illinois, and has been actively doing business in Ukraine for over 18 years. He was born in far western Ukraine near the Hungarian border. For over 15 years David was one of the managing partners and CFO of the WJ Group, a large agricultural business with major operations in Ukraine, Moldova, Russia and other countries.

The WJ Group was a member of USUBC for six years and David represented them on the USUBC board of directors. David has been strong supporter of USUBC and active in USUBC activities. The WJ Group was sold in 2011. David previously worked for the ABN AMRO Bank and helped set up their subsidiary in Russia in the early 1990's.

ALLA KOMISARENKO, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Alla Komisarenko is Chairman of the Board of Bank Kontrakt. Education: Kyiv National Economic University, Accounting and audit, Certificate of accounts, category "B", Issued by Auditing Chamber of Ukraine, ACCA Diploma. In banking: since 1990. At the "Kontrakt" since 12/18/2003. Head of the credit committee, performs strategic planning of the bank development, supervises financial and legal services department, as well as the security service. Responsible for a operations with pledged property.

PAUL KRAPIVIN, FIRST DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Pavel Krapivin is First Deputy Chairman of the Board. Education: Kyiv National Economic University, Finances and credit, Master of Business Administration. In banking: since 1994. At the "Kontrakt" since 10/07/2003. Responsible for the sales and clients support, VIP-service, activity of the departments dealing with bank securities and guarantees, operations with pledged property.

SERGEY OLEKSIYENKO, DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Sergey Oleksiyenko is Deputy Chairman of the Board. Education: Kyiv National Economic University, Finances and credit, Economist. In banking: since 1994. At the "Kontrakt" since 12/18/2003.

Responsible for an HR management, treasury, transactions, currency transactions, information technologies.

KATERINA GORBACH, HEAD, CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

Katerina Gorbach is Head of customer relationship department. Education: Kyiv National Economic University, Banking management. In banking: since 1994. At the "Kontrakt" since 11/19/2003. Responsible for the sales, marketing and PR.

BANK KONTRAKT AND U.S.-UKRAINE BUSINESS COUNCIL (USUBC)

The management of USUBC has worked with Bank Kontrakt President David Holpert for many years. "I first met David in 1995 when he was the CFO of the WJ Group, a major agribusiness with operations in Ukraine. WJ Group was a member of USUBC until they were sold in 2011,"said Morgan Williams, President, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

"USUBC is very pleased to be working with Bank Kontrakt and to learn about their banking program to support the development of small and medium business. David Holpert will represent the bank on the board of directors of USUBC," Williams said.
