EPAP Ukraine successfully represented the leasing company in a dispute over UAH 2 billion debt collection

EPAP Ukraine defended the interests of the major leasing company in a dispute over collection of debt in the amount of UAH 2 billion as lease payments.
The court of first instance satisfied the client’s claim on collection of UAH 750 million dismissing the currency fluctuations.
The domestic litigation team appealed the decision of the first instance and defended the foreign currency exchange clause of the agreement. The court of appeal fully upheld the position of the team and increased the amount to UAH 2 billion.
The client was represented by Counsel Arsen Miliutin and Associate Anton Sintsov led by Partner Gleb Bialyi.
