To provide clients with better service, May 18, 2016, Ukraine International Airlines introduces the automated web check-in service for economy class passengers traveling on UIA scheduled and charter flights.

The automated web check-in is introduced on all UIA flights except for:

• Flights operated to/from New York, London, Dubai, Bangkok, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Munich;
• Flights operated from Brussels, Geneva, Zurich, Tehran, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Helsinki, Madrid, Bologna, Valencia, Alicante, and Gdansk;
• Non-stop international flights operated to/from Kharkiv.

In case an economy class passenger did not take advantage of the UIA web check-in service 12 hours prior to scheduled departure, he/she will be checked-in automatically. Moreover, if the passenger travels with UIA beyond or has a return flight operated by UIA within 12 hours, he/she will be automatically checked-in through to the final destination.

When the automated web check-in is finished, an e-boarding pass is sent to a passenger’s e-mail. Passengers who did not provide the airline or the travel agent with their e-mail addresses when booking tickets, can receive their boarding passes at a check-in counter at the airport or download their travel documents from the UIA website or using the flyUIA app (available in Google Play and AppStore for free). Additionally, the passenger is able to change his seat online (subject to seat availability) or cancel the automated web check-in.

“We aspire to provide our passengers with maximum convenience. That is why we offer the clients to take advantage of the web check-in option, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – However, we realize that some of our guests do not have time to personally check-in online. For this reason we introduced the automated web check-in – the best solution for those who do not have any specific seating preferences. Simultaneously, travelers who are used to flying by the window or by the aisle, at the front or at the rear can check-in online within 23 – 12 hours prior to scheduled departure and choose seat to the fancy”.

The automated web check-in service will reduce queuing at the check-in counters at the airports of departure and will be introduced on all UIA flights.
