On  Tuesday, May 22 KPMG office in Ukraine conducted a "BEPS PERSPECTIVES IN UKRAINE "  tax seminar at its offices in Kyiv. The event is organized by KPMG in partnership with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC, www.usubc.org).

According to Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the world's budget losses from tax base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) are $100-240 billion annually. Budgets of developing countries lose more than the budgets of developed countries and Ukraine is no exception. In May 2017 the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine issued a roadmap for the implementation of a minimum BEPS package by the end of 2018. During the seminar the speakers and the audience discussed what is BEPS and what results will it bring to Ukrainian business, the program also included discussion of  BEPS Action Plan and its general overview, performance results, brief overview of  BEPS Actions; implementation of the  BEPS Action Plan in Ukraine: Minimum standards on BEPS relating to Ukrainian draft laws.
