During the Christmas season, every child dreams of a small miracle. For children who have lost one or both parents because of the war, it is more than just gifts — it is the feeling that someone remembers them, that they matter, that there is still light around them.

Right now, ahead of the winter holidays, Uklon together with the dobro.ua platform is launching a major Christmas fundraising campaign. Its goal is to bring warmth, care, and holiday joy to 1,550 children who have experienced the loss of their parents due to the war.

Uklon has already allocated UAH 1,000,000 to greet 775 children for St. Nicholas Day and Christmas.

Together with dobro.ua, they are launching a joint Christmas campaign for UAH 2,000,000, aiming to raise an additional UAH 1,000,000 through an open fundraiser. Anyone can contribute to give a holiday celebration to another 775 children who are currently in need of warmth and support.

A Christmas Gift from Maryna Krut and the Fund’s Children: Premiere of the Song “There Is Hope”

For the holidays, Maryna Krut performed the song “There Is Hope” together with children supported by the Fund — a sincere and uplifting composition that has become a symbol of faith and encouragement. In the children’s voices, it sounds especially touching, reminding us that hope lives on even during war.

Now, when the war continues, children need a celebration more than ever — a small ray of joy that reminds them that life goes on, and their dreams can still come true despite everything. This is especially true for nearly 15,000 children who have lost one or both parents to the war and now urgently need psychological support.

“That is why we are immensely grateful to Uklon and dobro.ua for standing by the children this Christmas — children who have endured the greatest loss of their lives. This fundraiser of UAH 2 million means that 1,550 children will receive care and a holiday celebration. It reminds them that kindness still exists, and that there are people ready to support them even when there is so much pain around,” commented Tetiana Novytska, CEO of the Children of Heroes Foundation.

14,900 Children Under the Foundation’s Care: New Stories of Loss Every Day

Today, more than 14,900 children who lost parents because of the war are under the care of the Foundation. Yet every day, 16–17 new children join — and each story reflects a new wound, new pain, and a reality that young Ukrainians are forced to face at a very early age.

In such moments, it is incredibly important for adults to be there, offering support and light — especially during the winter holidays, when children want to believe that dreams and wishes can still come true.

“Creating Christmas miracles for children affected by the war has become a good tradition for Uklon. This is the third year we are doing this, because for us it is not a one-time campaign, but part of our mission — to support those who need it most. We believe that Christmas magic appears wherever there is kindness. And this year, we want to inspire other businesses and all caring people to create miracles together,” said Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon.
