Paul Zukowski leads business development and strategy for the European market at the Platforms & Services Sector for BAE Systems Inc. Activities in his portfolio represent the full breadth of business development from early qualification and shaping of emerging opportunities to standing up campaigns while overseeing capture and closing. With the Platforms & Services product portfolio his main focus is on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) campaigns and supporting US Army allies in Europe.
Prior to joining BAE Systems, Paul was at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics working on various international industrial cooperation programs including in Saudi Arabia, India as well as the F-35 program in Korea. Paul’s defense Offset experience began when he served as Assistant Director of the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas, a world renowned technology commercialization and incubation center in Texas. During his 9-year tenor at the Institute Paul developed programs for the defense offset market, working with major defense contractors and helping them turn technology transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship programs into offset value around the world.
Prior to the defense industry Paul held key positions with several early-stage, venture funded technology startups with primary focus on international markets. Paul earned a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
