On March 12, USUBC, in partnership with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), held an in-person Business Roundtable with the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU), featuring Director Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi and Deputy Director for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalization Yurii Bielousov.
Opening remarks were delivered by Natalia Otel Belan, Director for the Europe and Eurasia Division at CIPE, and the discussion was moderated by Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of USUBC.
For USUBC members, the roundtable provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with ESBU leadership on key priorities, including combating economic crime, advancing institutional reforms, and strengthening protections for legitimate business. As Ukraine continues its economic transformation and recovery, engagement with institutions like ESBU is of particular importance to the USUBC community. Clear communication, institutional accountability, and trust between the public and private sectors are key to fostering a stable and attractive investment climate.
