The engagement related to regulatory approval following the transfer of seized gas distribution assets to SJC “Chornomornaftogaz,” an affiliate of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine,” with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine conducting an in-depth Phase II review, imposing fines, and granting multiple conditional clearances. AVELLUM advised on all aspects of competition and regulatory matters, including merger control strategy and representation before the AMC.
