AVELLUM’s landmark “ERA Loans for Ukraine” transaction has been shortlisted for the prestigious CEE Deal of the Year Awards 2025. The firm advised the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on three major loans from the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan under the G7 EUR 45 billion Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration initiative, with repayment structured through proceeds from immobilised russian sovereign assets via the EU’s Ukraine Loan Cooperation Mechanism. Winners will be announced on May 27, 2026, in Bucharest, recognizing one of the most innovative and impactful sovereign financing deals in the region.
