<p><img alt="" src="/images/Allison-Melia-Boeing.jpg" style="float:left; height:375px; width:250px" />Allison Melia is Director for International Operations and Policy at The Boeing Company, the world&rsquo;s largest aerospace company and one of the largest U.S. exporters with customers in over 150 countries. Melia leads Boeing&rsquo;s engagement with the U.S. Government and diplomatic community on security cooperation in Europe and the Americas, including foreign military sales as well as export and technology transfer policy.</p><p>Since joining the company in 2017, Melia has held roles in Boeing&rsquo;s International Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, and Strategy organizations.</p><p>Prior to Boeing, Melia served for 10 years as an analyst and manager at the Central Intelligence Agency, where she regularly informed US foreign policy, supported operations, and engaged with international partners. She is the recipient of 10 CIA Exceptional Performance Awards for individual achievement and two Meritorious Unit Citations.</p><p>Melia served as Director for Pakistan and Afghanistan on the White House National Security Council from 2010-2011, where she was responsible for formulating and evaluating US policies related to counterterrorism and military assistance and regularly advised the President, Vice President, National Security Advisor, and other senior officials. She began her career in Government in 2004 as an analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency.</p><p>After leaving Government service, Melia was Director Analysis at Crumpton Group, a strategic advisory firm in Washington, DC, where her team supported private sector clients with intelligence-driven solutions in areas including due diligence, market trends, and geopolitical assessments.</p><p>She holds a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Economics cum laude from Harvard University and a Master&rsquo;s degree in Economics from George Mason University. She is a former Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and her analysis and commentary have been published in The Wall Street Journal and The New Yorker.
