Niko Gachechyladze has more than 10 years of experience with PPPs development in Ukraine. He has graduated from the Economics Faculty of Kyiv National Economics University (Master of Economics).
In 2021 he become a Certified PPP Professional (CP3P). In 2023 finished the Harvard-IFC Senior Training on PPP and Project Finance.
For last 5 years Niko has been working as the Director of the PPP Agency in Ukraine. His main responsibilities as the Director are management and coordination of all issues that are necessary for the preparation for the implementation of PPP Projects in Ukraine. PPP Agency has been working on the preparation of more than 20 PPP projects of different sizes and sectors including concession projects in ports, PPP Road program, PPP Healthcare projects etc. Moreover, PPP mechanism is foreseen by the Government of Ukraine as one of main means for the post-war renovation of Ukraine.
He also has been part of the working groups which has been responsible for coordination on reforming Concession legislation (in 2019) and PPP legislation (2025).
Currently PPP Agency become the representative of Ukraine in US-Ukraine Investment Fund Agreement and Beneficiary in World Bank Grant PREPARE.
