Ukrainian defense technology company BlueBird Tech has advanced its flagship “Hrets XL” electronic warfare system with newly integrated countermeasures against Mavic-type drones and expanded jamming capabilities across 2.4, 5.2, and 5.8 GHz frequencies. The upgraded platform, developed in response to frontline military feedback, features a broader jamming spectrum, adaptive resistance to dynamic channel switching, faster deployment, and improved field endurance, creating an “electronic dome” that disrupts hostile drone communications before impact. In parallel, the company’s leadership recently highlighted Ukraine’s shift from reliance on imported weapons to building a fast-moving domestic defense-tech ecosystem shaping modern military doctrine.
