The EU4UA Defence Tech initiative has opened applications for its first grant round, offering funding to companies developing high-speed interceptors and advanced radar or sensor systems aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. The program includes a transparent, multi-stage selection process evaluated by representatives of Brave1, the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), the EU Defence Innovation Office in Kyiv (EUDIO), the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff, and an independent observer. Alongside financial support, the initiative will also provide regulatory assistance, a hackathon, and access to the new Brave1 Expo Room for showcasing defence technologies.
