In August, Cultural Forces continued to amplify the voices of Ukraine’s defenders through music, art, and literature. Highlights included the launch of the Portraits in Schools initiative with the Ministry of Education, a performance in front of the European Parliament in Brussels, and support for newly released prisoners of war at Kyiv’s central railway station. The month also saw international recognition, as Imagine Dragons shared a video of Ukrainian soldier Taras Stolyar playing the bandura, reaching over 680,000 views.
