Amid sustained attacks on Ukraine’s power infrastructure, DTEK has carried out UAH 26.5 billion ($651 million) in repairs to thermal power plants and electricity grids damaged since 2022. Despite more than 220 strikes on its generation facilities and widespread destruction to substations and power lines, the company has restored the vast majority of damaged assets and continues reconnecting hundreds of communities to electricity. Looking ahead, DTEK plans to invest an additional UAH 13.2 billion ($324 million) to further strengthen the system and prepare for the winter of 2026/27, reinforcing Ukraine’s energy resilience.
