Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine is advancing a new approach to tackling economic offenses aimed at ensuring faster budget revenues, transparent rules for business, and fair outcomes without prolonged court proceedings. The proposed model, based on international practice, would allow certain tax-related criminal cases to be closed if damages are fully compensated, taxes and financial penalties are paid, and an additional contribution is made to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To foster professional dialogue and refine the necessary legislative changes, the Bureau invites business representatives to share their views through a dedicated survey.
