U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) and International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) will host a Joint USUBC-ISOA Webinar on Defense Logistics, Insurance and Supply Chain Resilience. The webinar will be held on 4 June (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM Washington, D.C. time / 4:00 PM Kyiv time.

This webinar will focus on defense and humanitarian aid logistics and risk insurance, exploring the critical role of supply chain management in supporting defense operations in Ukraine. Leading logistics and insurance companies will discuss challenges, best practices and innovative solutions.

The Webinar will focus on the following topics:

  • Overview of the challenges and changes in shipping aid and defense cargo to Ukraine
  • Best routes via air, ocean and ground transportation into Ukraine for government and defense industries
  • Humanitarian Aid since 2022 – How the situation has evolved
  • Best practices to avoid customs delays when shipping via two borders (EU and Ukraine)
  • Best practices for insurance of your cargo, staff and operations in Ukraine
  • Security in travel and cargo into Ukraine
  • Future look – potential for peace, sustainment, recovery and rebuilding – how it may impact shipping and insurance

The webinar will be moderated by Brian Bourke, Global Chief Commercial Officer at SEKO Logistics (Bio), and will feature introductory remarks from Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO, USUBC (Bio) and Howard Lind, President and Executive Director of the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) (Bio). Nadiia Khomaziuk, Executive Director, USUBC (Bio), will serve as Q&A Moderator during the event.
