AUK invites you to the Research Seminar “Machine Learning for Electronic Structure” with Volodymyr Bezguba, Head of Quantum Materials Laboratory and Senior Research Fellow at Laboratory of Data Science and Machine Learning of Kyiv Academic University.
The electronic structure of materials essentially contains in itself all their properties, which we see and experience in everyday life, including whether material conducts current or not, whether it is optically transparent or is fragile mechanically.
Therefore, this talk will consist of two parts: a brief introduction to the physics side of the problem, and how machine learning can help for the tasks in this field, like materials design and data analysis.
