The Business Advisory Council (BAC) to the Ukraine Donor Platform has launched a new initiative focused on Ukraine’s IT services sector, aimed at better understanding how international companies perceive Ukrainian IT providers and what barriers may limit broader engagement. As part of this effort, an anonymous survey is being distributed to companies that currently use, or may consider using, Ukrainian IT services.
The survey, which takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete, is designed to collect aggregated, non-identifiable data that will help inform practical solutions to increase IT service exports and strengthen Ukraine’s private sector contribution to long-term economic growth. All responses are fully anonymous and will be used exclusively for statistical and analytical purposes by Confindustria – the Italian leading business association and BAC Presidency for 2025–2026 – and Deloitte.
Logistics Plus Founder and CEO Jim Berlin was appointed to the G-7+ Business Advisory Council for the Ukraine Donor Platform in June 2024, representing private sector expertise and supporting initiatives that enhance Ukraine’s investment climate. The BAC, launched during the June 2024 Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, brings together international business leaders to provide strategic advice to donors and policymakers on reforms, risk mitigation, and sector-specific challenges related to Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.
The Council plays a key role in aligning private sector needs with donor support through close cooperation with the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform. Its workstreams have included war risk insurance, infrastructure development, renewable energy, housing, and business logistics, as well as actionable guidance for companies operating in Ukraine’s complex environment.
USUBC encourages member companies with relevant experience or interest in Ukrainian IT services to participate in the survey and share their insights. Private sector engagement remains essential to unlocking sustainable growth, supporting Ukrainian SMEs – including women-led enterprises – and ensuring the success of Ukraine’s recovery efforts.
