Asters’ Second Scholarship Competition for Law Students
at the Higher Educational Institutions of Kyiv and the Kyiv Region

Asters announces that it conducts the Second Scholarship Competition for Law Students at the Higher Educational Institutions of Kyiv and the Kyiv region aimed at promoting the students’ creative and professional initiative in economic law and legal regulation of taxation and finance, as well as at selecting talented students and inviting them to work as interns at the firm with the opportunity of further employment.

3 winners will be determined according to the results of the competition. First, second and third place finishers will be awarded a monthly scholarship as follows:

1st place – UAH 1500;
2nd place – UAH 1000;
3rd place – UAH 500.

The winners of the Competition will also have the opportunity to work as interns at Asters during their free time from their studies.

The competition consists of two rounds: one remote, the other on-site.

The first (remote) round calls upon the students to independently solve the first round competition tasks elaborated by the firm’s partners and associates based on actual cases handled by Asters.

Deadline for Submission of entries: 30 September 2008

The entries are evaluated by a Scholarship Commission consisting of Asters’ partners and lawyers. Based on the evaluation of the contestants, the Commission shall determine 10 finalists who will be invited to participate in the second round of the Scholarship Competition.

The second (on-site) round entails several tasks and takes place with the finalists from the first round present. Winners of the Competition are determined according to the results of the second round.
