T.M.M. TO INVEST AROUND USD 250 M IN DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECTS BY JUNE 2009
Kyiv-based T.M.M. construction firm Ltd. plans to invest around USD 250 million in the development of its projects, as announced on September 15. The details of the placement haven't been disclosed.
T.M.M. Firm Ltd. was created in 1994 and is incorporated in to the TMM financial-industrial group, which operates in the construction sphere, electricity generating devices, and trade.
XXI CENTURY TO INVEST AROUND USD 100 M IN DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECTS WITHIN ONE YEAR
Kyiv-based XXI Century developing company plans to invest around USD 100 million of its own funds in the development of its projects within a year, as reported on September 15.
The company would concentrate on the development of three business directions due to the liquidity crisis on the real estate market, in particular, the premium class housing, trade centers and office real estate.
XXI Century is Ukraine's leading developer, which has been operating since 1999.
KDD GROUP TO INVEST OVER USD 400 M IN DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECTS BY 2011
KDD Group N.V. (the Netherlands), a holding company of one of the largest Ukrainian developing and real estate investment groups, Kyiv-Donbas, plans to invest over USD 400 million in the development of its projects within the next two years, as informed on September 12.
Over the next two years, the company plans to invest some USD 90-100 million of its own funds and over USD 300 million in credits funds in the development of its projects.
KDD Group N.V. portfolio in Ukraine consists of eight projects on real estate in Kyiv City, Kyiv region and Lviv, with a total area of 2.7 million square meters.
LYMANSKE AIRPORT HOPING TO ATTRACT ABOUT EUR 90 M FOR DEVELOPMENT
Lymanske Airport in Odesa region is intending by 2010 to attract EUR 90 million to develop the airport complex, the press service of Transport and Communications Ministry, as announced on September 11.
The airport's plans foresee the creation of a ground-servicing complex following the recommendations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It also foresees the construction and assembly of automatic systems for cargo handling to speed up the process and minimize expenses.
The airport is located 55 kilometers far from Odesa. It has a runway with a length of 2,500 meters and a width of 60 meters. It is a B class airport that can accept heavy aircraft during daytime.
KYIV TO ATTRACT USD 250 M FOREIGN LOAN IN OCTOBER
Kyiv hopes to attract a USD 250-million foreign loan in October 2008, as reported on September 19.
Late in July 2003, Kyiv floated five-year loan participation notes (LPN) worth USD 150 million at 8.75% (legal limitations constrain Ukrainian issuers to release eurobonds through LPN). The LPNs were lead-managed by JP Morgan, UBS Warburg, and Dresdner Bank.
