FORT MYERS, Florida - SoftServe, Inc. was recognized by Microsoft Corp. as Partner of the Year 2009 in Central and Eastern Europe in the category Information Worker Solutions, Enterprise Content Management and Forms Development. The award was for sophisticated application developed in tandem with ASG Software Solutions.
Winners and finalists were announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2009, the company’s premier annual event for industry partners, held from July 13-16 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
At this year’s conference, Microsoft Corp. outlined a bold road map of products and services that the company will deliver to partners and customers in the coming year and introduced its new Microsoft Partner Network, the next evolution of the Microsoft Partner Program.
The annual Microsoft Partner of the Year awards honor Microsoft partners for delivering exemplary IT solutions for their customers. This year, SoftServe's project was recognized as one of two Ukrainian winners in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

In her keynote address, Allison Watson, corporate vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft, kicked off the event with the launch of the Microsoft Partner Network. “Microsoft is entering the biggest year of product launches in its history, and partners will play a pivotal role in bringing to market what customers want — choice, flexibility and cost savings,” Watson said.
