4KSE EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM “WINNING WITH ANALYTICS”

We invite top executives of Ukrainian and international companies who would like to manage the future of their business with evidence-based decision-making to participate in the midterm KSE Executive Education Program “Winning with Analytics”.

The Winning with Analytics program is a unique analytics-powered executive educational program specifically targeted to those decision makers who realize the importance of planning, predicting and controlling the future of their business. The Program is organized in a format of 3 modules held on week-ends. The Program also includes Guest Lectures by Mr. Jim Rogers (a Global Investor, Chairman of Rogers Holding and Co-founder of Quantum Fund with George Soros) held on March 12 and Mr. Adrian Slywotzky (Lviv Business School Advisory Board Member and one of the six most influential management thinkers in the world) held on April 10. The partner of the program is U.S.- Ukraine Business Council (USUBC)

5VOLODYMYR DUBROVSKIY AND MYKHAILO KOLISNYK HAVE BECOME SENIOR FELLOWS OF KSE

Mykhailo Kolisnyk, a widely known and respected Ukrainian expert in the field of finance and a renowned professor in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Management, and Volodymyr Dubrovskiy, a widely known and respected policy expert, have recently been appointed to the positions of Senior Fellows of the Kyiv School of Economics.

Mr. Kolisnyk will support KSE in its efforts to develop management education programs and Mr. Dubrovskiy will strengthen KSE’s reputation for providing high quality policy advice.

6“CHALLENGES FACING UKRAINE ON ITS WAY TO GLOBAL INTEGRATION”. KYIV POINT OF VIEW

On February 21, 2013 the Kyiv School of Economics organized an open discussion on “Challenges Facing Ukraine on Its Way to Global Integration”. This discussion is the first of a series of Kyiv Point of View open discussions organized by KSE

Experts of the Kyiv School of Economics, as well as well-known international and Ukrainian experts participated in the event. Among them were:

    Mr. Rogers will talk about “The Future of Finance. How Jim Rogers Sees the World and What He Is Doing About It?”

    The event is organized in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce and the Agribusiness in Ukraine Forum 2013 of Adam Smith Conferences with media support from Forbes Ukraine.

    The event will be held in English (simultaneous translation into Ukrainian will be provided).

    8KSE TEAM IS THE WINNER OF UKRAINE’S CFA RESEARCH CHALLENGE 2013

    We are very proud to announce that a KSE team consisting of the KSE second-year students Iurii Berezhnoi, Mykhailo Iavorskyi, Zoryana Podilchuk, Anna Sagatovych and Borys Trofimov has become a winner of the Ukraine’s 3rd CFA Research Challenge and will represent Ukraine at the global round in London.
