Face the Future Ukraine: 26 lives. 83 surgeries. 4 days. That’s what impact looks like when we come together. 💙💛

This April, in Ivano-Frankivsk, a team of surgeons from Canada, the U.S., and Ukraine performed 83 complex procedures for people wounded by Russia’s war – restoring faces, rebuilding bones, and helping survivors heal.

One of them was Roman, just 21 years old. He survived an airstrike but lost the bones in his forehead. This week, thanks to a custom titanium implant, Roman’s face was rebuilt and his brain protected. A future restored.

🔹 26 patients: civilians, veterans, defenders
🔹 83 reconstructive surgeries in 4 days
🔹 Custom titanium implants
🔹 Rebuilt jaws, noses, eye sockets

But Face the Future Ukraine is more than a project. It’s a model of solidarity, of partnership, of what’s possible when we invest in long-term healing.

Ukrainian doctors trained side by side with international experts. Hospitals received critical tech and tools. And every surgery moved us one step closer to a sustainable system of care.

The project was made possible by Razom for Ukraine, Face the Future Foundation, Still Strong, and CF Patients of Ukraine.
