Dear Friends,

On this International Women’s Day, I am pleased to invite you to Eurasia Foundation's inaugural Women Changemakers Forum. Join us April 27 at 5:30 pm ET as we bring together a powerful collection of bold and innovative voices at the frontlines of progress.

At the event, we will spotlight visionary women who are working to combat domestic violence in Kazakhstan, champion the role of women in the peace process in Afghanistan, reduce government corruption in Ukraine, advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities in Russia, and support trafficking survivors in Uzbekistan.

We will also honor Fiona Hill with the Sarah Carey Award. Named after Eurasia Foundation’s long-serving Chair of the Board of Trustees, this award recognizes a distinguished figure who embodies Sarah’s pioneering spirit and has contributed to Eurasia Foundation's mission. Fiona has deep ties with Eurasia Foundation, as an employee in the early days and later as an active member of our Board of Trustees. Fiona will then join us for a live conversation on women trailblazers around the world.

I am furthermore very excited to announce a new fellowship for women changemakers. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will bring several fellows to the Washington, DC area for a two-week educational visit that will allow them to expand their networks, create partnerships, connect with potential donors, and share their stories.

To register for the event, please follow this link. We also welcome your contributions to the fellowship, which will be funded by corporate and individual donations. If you are interested in becoming a donor, please click here.

We hope to see you virtually on April 27!

Warm regards and Happy Women’s Day,
Lisa
