February 24 marks three years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and 11 years of Ukraine’s ongoing fight for freedom — a solemn anniversary of pain, resilience, and unyielding courage. On this day, the world witnessed not only Ukraine’s fierce determination to defend its independence and sovereignty, but also the steadfast support of its allies, including the United States.

In Washington, D.C., thousands gathered near the Lincoln Memorial in a powerful rally organized by American and Ukrainian-American organizations — among them U.S. Ukrainian Activists, United Help Ukraine, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), Razom for Ukraine, Ukraine House, and People of Ukraine Foundation. Their relentless work, in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in the U.S. and the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine (Philadelphia, PA), reflects the unbreakable bond between the Ukrainian and American people.

This show of unity comes as bipartisan support for Ukraine remains strong in the U.S. Congress. Marking this anniversary, the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus introduced its third resolution condemning Russia’s ongoing aggression and reaffirming the United States’ unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and future.

We, at USUBC, stand with our members in advancing bilateral U.S.-Ukrainian economic cooperation for the goal of achieving just peace and rebuilding Ukraine.
