On 15 December, USUBC held its 30th Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors in Washington, D.C., in a hybrid format (in person and via Zoom).
The meeting brought together USUBC Designated Board Members and achieved the required quorum to conduct the 2026 elections of the USUBC Executive Committee and Officers and to accomplish its agenda, which included:
- The annual report delivered by Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO of USUBC.
- The financial report presented by Greg Fishman, USUBC’s Secretary/Treasurer, and Oleksiy (Alex) Slusarenko, Director of Financial Administration.
- A discussion on the USUBC governance reform and proposed amendments to the USUBC Bylaws.
The meeting was led by Stephanie Murphy, Vice President, Crop Science and Corporate Government Affairs at Bayer and Vice Chair of the USUBC Executive Committee. The Annual Meeting marked an important milestone in USUBC’s governance cycle, reaffirming the Council’s institutional continuity, transparency, and on-going governance reform to be completed in the upcoming year.
