On August 27, the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) welcomed members, partners, and distinguished guests for a special Independence Day Networking Reception at Creative States of Arsenal in Kyiv. The evening gathered leaders from business, government, and civil society for meaningful discussions, music, and networking in celebration of Ukraine’s resilience and transatlantic partnership.
Keynote contributions were delivered by Danylo Hetmantsev, Head of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Ilia Kenigshtein, Founder of Creative States; Maksym Barabash, Managing Director Ukraine & Moldova at Philip Morris International; Nadiia Petruchenko, Chief Business Officer of SPP Development Ukraine; Daniel Bilak, USUBC Executive Committee member and Defense Working Group Co-Lead, Partner at Kinstellar; Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, Supervisory Board Member of SEETON GROUP; Alisa Rotova, International Development Manager and Organisational Design Manager at GERZ Holding; Vadim Sidoruk, General Manager of DHL Express Ukraine; and Oleg Antipin, Brand Ambassador of SHABO. The official program of the reception also featured remarks by Greg Fishman, Secretary-Treasurer of the USUBC Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Defense Working Group.
A special highlight of the evening was the performance by Cultural Forces, an ensemble of professional artists who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the onset of the full-scale invasion.
