On 29 January USUBC co-organized a networking reception with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in Kyiv.
The event brought together U.S. government representatives and U.S.–Ukraine business community during CLDP’s visit to Kyiv, which included a high-level delegation advancing initiatives in public procurement, public–private partnerships, and investment dispute avoidance.
The reception was opened by Leon Skarshinski, Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine; Oleksandr Kava, Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine; Eric Ives, Senior Counsel for Europe, CLDP; Raquel Martinez Sloan, Attorney Advisor – International, CLDP; and Dmytro Filonenko, Director of Programming & Business Development, USUBC.
The event provided an informal setting for dialogue, relationship-building, and discussion of priority reform and investment topics relevant to USUBC members.
