On 23 September 2025, the renovated U.S. Embassy’s America House in Kyiv was officially opened, following a comprehensive renovation executed in partnership between Construction Corporation GERZ – a Ukrainian contractor and the American Defense Contractor – Mission Essential Group. The project restores a flagship community and cultural space for Kyiv, strengthening people-to-people ties and civic engagement at a pivotal moment for Ukraine’s recovery. Both companies are proud members of the U.S.–Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
This collaboration began through a partnership facilitated by USUBC and marks the first step in a broader pipeline of joint projects and deeper ties between GERZ and Mission Essential Group. The partners combined international best practices with local execution to deliver a high-quality, safe, and future-ready facility, setting a template for efficient, resilient work on upcoming public, commercial and defence assets across Ukraine.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony and a working lunch were attended by Oleksandr Rotov and Alisa Rotova of GERZ, Daniel Soller of MEG, Irina Paliashvili, Greg Fishman and Dmytro Filonenko of USUBC and Leon Skarshinski, Stanislav Zavodovskyi and Leslie Gibson from US Embassy Kyiv, underscoring the strong public-private coalition backing Ukraine’s reconstruction. GERZ and Mission Essential Group look forward to building on this momentum, scaling the partnership to support additional U.S.–Ukraine initiatives and delivering projects that are on time, compliant, and built to last.
