Hosted by Major General Borys Kremenetskyi, Defense Attaché of Ukraine to the United States, the Reception brought together Ukrainian and American service members, veterans, representatives of the U.S. Administration and Congress, volunteers, diplomats, and friends of Ukraine to mark this important day and express collective gratitude to Ukraine’s defenders.
U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine, LTG (Ret.) Keith Kellogg, delivered heartfelt words of support and respect for Ukrainian soldiers. Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, Olga Stefanishyna, and Major General Borys Kremenetskyi expressed deep gratitude to the United States for its unwavering support. They emphasized that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian defenders continue standing strong on land, in the air, and at sea — protecting not only Ukraine, but the entire free world.
