On 13 October 2025, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (Washington, D.C.), USUBC – together with the U.S. Commercial Service and Kallman Worldwide Inc. – hosted an in-person Ukraine Informational Session during AUSA.
Speakers included Dmytro Bihunets, Director of Risk Management and Compliance, Defense Procurement Agency of Ukraine; Borys Kremenetskyi, Defense Attaché (Major General, UKR-Air Force), U.S. Embassy Kyiv; Jennifer Pueschner, Ukraine Executive, Global Accounts, Raytheon (an RTX business); and Dmytro Filonenko, Director, Programming & Business Development, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
Peter McKenna, Vice President – Strategic Planning, Kallman Worldwide, Inc. and Irina Paliashvili, President & CEO, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) delivered welcome remarks. The discussion was moderated by Dana Linnet, President & CEO, The Summit Group DC.
Every Ukrainian company present introduced itself and outlined current needs and partnership interests, giving U.S. industry a direct window into priorities on the ground. Attendance was exceptional: a full house with overflow, which showed strong interest in Ukrainian defense sector. The response was overwhelmingly positive, fueling a dynamic networking segment and multiple B2B follow-ups. By popular demand, participants suggested making this an annual session.
