On Tuesday, September 28, USUBC and COSA Intelligence Solutions partnered with the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to host a defense networking reception. The event received immense support from USUBC members and partners, including Babcock International Group, Textron Inc., Bell Flight, Culmen International, and risk management and logistics support partner GardaWorld.
The defense networking reception was dedicated to the Defense 1 – International Defense Industries Forum, which took place on September 29 in Kyiv. Among the distinguished attendees were Ministers, Ambassadors, Defence Attaches, Servicemen, Servicewomen of the Ukraine Armed Forces, Ukraine Government officials, Presidents, VPs, Regional Directors, and C-level representatives from the world’s leading defense companies.
We were honored to welcome notable figures such as Oleksandr Kamyshin – Minister of Strategic Industry of Ukraine, Ambassador Bridget A. Brink – United States Ambassador to Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov – Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and other top government officials.
The event featured esteemed speakers, including John Howie MBE, CEO Marine at Babcock International; Chief Commercial Affairs Officer and Chair of the Eastern Flank Sub-Committee of the UK’s Defense Industry Leadership Body (DLIB), Pavel Verkhniatskyi, Managing Partner and Founder at COSA; and Denis Jatsyshyn, Corporate Relations at U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
