A new UK–US strategic partnership brings together Westinghouse and Nuclear Transport Solutions to jointly develop Pegasus, a next-generation transport package for High Assay Low Enriched Uranium (HALEU). Signed at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., the agreement strengthens transatlantic cooperation on nuclear safety, engineering, and regulatory standards while supporting the deployment of advanced reactors and low-carbon energy solutions. The collaboration is expected to enhance energy security and accelerate the development of reliable nuclear fuel supply chains in both countries.
