Mark Magaletsky
Mark Magaletsky is a Deputy Head Ukraine, Sustainable Infrastructure, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
In this capacity, Mark Magaletsky is overseeing EBRD operations in transport, municipal infrastructure and energy sector in Ukraine as well as policy dialogue with the central government and local authorities. The EBRD is the largest financial investor in Ukraine with the total portfolio of EUR 4.5 billion. Since the start of the Russian aggression on Ukraine, the EBRD Kyiv team reallocated to Warsaw, Poland, from where it continues leading the Bank’s operations in Ukraine. In 2022, EBRD’s total investments in Ukraine reached EUR 1.7 billion in food and energy security, support to the vital infrastructure, banking sector and private business resilience.
Mark Magaletsky joined the EBRD in 1998 and has extensive experience in Ukrainian infrastructure operations in both state and private sectors.
Prior to joining the EBRD, he worked for Bain & Company, a leading international strategic consultancy.
Mark Magaletsky is a graduate of Kyiv National University of Economics.
