Kyiv, April 18, 2013 – Ernst & Young released its fourth Corporate Responsibility Report for Ukraine, illustrating the results of the company’s performance in the economic, social and environmental spheres. The report covers the activities of the Ukrainian offices, located in Kyiv and Donetsk, during the financial year 2012 (from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012).

Ernst & Young`s corporate responsibility includes building strong relationships with all our stakeholders (internal and external) and care for the environment. Key program areas are covered in the four relevant sections of the report: Workplace, Marketplace, Environment and Community, being confirmed with measurable indicators.

Key highlights in the area of corporate responsibility:

  • last year about 9 thousands students and schoolchildren were involved in educational projects organized and / or supported by Ernst & Young;
  • Ernst & Young has organized and / or supported 15 events dedicated to improving business-climate in Ukraine;
  • client serving employees participated in more than 204 training courses, dedicating about 14,000 training hours to their professional development;
  • 84% of employee mothers believed that the Working Mothers Support Program provides a better work-life balance.
