PwC Ukraine invites USUBC members to a Business Breakfast dedicated to the topic of provision of personnel by non-resident companies to Ukrainian companies.
In view of recent changes in the foreign currency legislation and other business factors, this topic is timely and is of growing interest in business circles. PwC Ukraine’s tax and legal professionals will discuss the regulations in this area with you, and will focus on key aspects important for business in regard to personnel provision arrangements. The language of the event will be English. Translation will not be provided.
Agenda:
1. Introduction. The background for using the model of cross-border provision of personnel.
2. Main legal considerations, including requirements for foreign economic agreements and labour law issues.
3. Immigration issues associated with the implementation of this business model.
4. Customs issues related to the relocation of personnel (temporary import of belongings and cars, declaring cash, etc.)
5. Expertise of the pricing conditions set in the agreement on provision of personnel (the Ukrainian Price Monitoring body “Derzhzovnishinform”)
6. Tax implications arising from this business relationship for a Ukrainian company (CPT, VAT, payroll taxes, transfer pricing matters), the providing company (PE risk) and seconded individuals (PIT).
