On February 28, 2013, at 1 pm VKP’s Partner Oksana Voynarovska conducted a webinar on labour disputes, their causes, preventative remedial devices and resolution options. The event took place at LIGABusinessInform and YURLIGA press-centre.
The topic has aroused considerable interest and many questions, which proved its relevance for both employees and employers, since properly handled labour disputes are the key to company's performance. The webinar addressed main causes of disagreement in corporate labour disputes and how to avoid misunderstandings between the parties, disputes arising out of denial of employment, including grounds and consequences, the role of trade unions in settlement of labour disputes, staff reductions, individual and collective labour disputes, their legal and practical aspects, dismissal of employees as a result of certification, as well as the novelties of the new Labour Code draft.
