Dentons’ Kyiv office has recently arranged a round table called “Debt recovery: hot issues in court practice”. Representatives of leading Ukrainian banks and the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine joined the Bankruptcy Commissioner and Dentons lawyers to discuss debt recovery, securities enforcement in Ukraine, relevant court practice and the peculiarities of proceedings involved in Crimea and ATO.

During the discussion, Oleksandr Yevsikov, Judge of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine, shared his views on court practice developments and inconsistencies on the topics raised, as well as on the ongoing Ukrainian court system reforms. The bankers pointed out debt recovery problems in the ATO-zone, challenges related to mortgage enforcements and inefficiency of some procedural rules involved. They also shared  their experience, interesting cases, which were commented on by Judge Yevsikov and Bankruptcy Manager Maksim Zvezdichev.
