Where: EBRD Headquarters, London, EC2A 2JN
The EBRD cordially invites you to an event celebrating the connection of the Ukrainian market to Clearstream, the international central securities depository of Deutsche Börse Group, making Ukrainian government securities eligible in its global system.
The event will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019, 14.00 BST at EBRD headquarters in London.
The connection marks a big milestone in Ukraine’s capital market development as international investors are now able to freely transfer Ukrainian Hryvnia-denominated government bonds through the international system of Clearstream, improving efficiency at international standards while reducing costs for investors.
The event will feature discussions on the benefits of the Ukrainian markets being able to connect with international customers, and highlight the numerous opportunities that joining a global network can create for new investment and financing potential. Event participants will include Oleg Churiy (National Bank of Ukraine, Deputy Governor), André Küüsvek (ERBD, Director Local Currency and Capital Markets Development), Konstantin Stetsenko (ICU, Managing Partner), and Jan Willems (Global Markets, Head of Product Management).
