A new research collaboration aims to advance biological crop protection technologies for early-season disease management. Corteva Agriscience is partnering with Ascribe Bio on a multi-year initiative to evaluate how Phytalix® biofungicide – based on natural ascaroside molecules – could be applied as a seed treatment to help protect germinating seeds from soil-borne pathogens and support stronger crop establishment. The partnership will combine Ascribe’s R&D and early field trials with Corteva’s expertise in formulation, seed treatment technologies, and agronomic testing across key growing regions.
