USUBC In-Person Meeting with New IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Priscilla Toffano

On 1 August 2004 Priscilla Toffano was appointed as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) permanent representative in Ukraine. Ms. Toffano has been with the IMF since 2013, and USUBC is happy to  congratulate her with this important new appointment and welcome her at the meetings in Washington D.C and Kyiv.

Despite lower production and inventory forecasts in the USDA report, wheat exchange prices fell

In August's supply and demand report, USDA experts raised their forecast for world wheat   consumption by more than their production  forecast, lowering their estimate of ending stocks. But stock prices fell 0.4-1.2%, and were not supported even by a reduction in the forecast for production and stocks of wheat in the US.
