Arzinger Law Office announces appointments of new counsels in the firm. In April 2012 Oleksander Plotnikov, Evgenia Novichkova and Dmytro Gadomsky have been promoted to counsels. 

Oleksander Plotnikov specializes in banking and finance law, capital markets and foreign investments.  He advises national and foreign banks on a large variety of issues regarding bank activity and provision of financial services in Ukraine, and consults companies on issues of cooperation with banks, on foreign investment and currency control issues. Moreover, Oleksander has extensive experience in corporate law and M&A. As legal advisor he supported share issues of insurance companies and banks and issuance of municipal and corporate bonds by financial, agricultural and retail companies.

Before joining Arzinger in 2010 as a Senior Associate, Oleksander had worked for 5 years as lawyer in head offices of leading Ukrainian banks with foreign capital: Ukrsibbank PJSC (BNP Paribas Group) and Calyon Bank Ukraine JSC (Credit Agricole Group).

Evgenia Novichkova focusses on antitrust and competition law, M&A, corporate and labour law. Her industrial specialization includes agriculture, energy and investment funds.  

Evgenia is attorney-at-law with more than 10 years of legal practice. She supported numerous high-profile and complicated projects for such clients as Porsche, Strabag, Schwarzmüller, Claas, Schäfer Shop, Porr, Big Dutchman, Bayer AG, Bunge, Rhenus Logistics, System Capital Management, Vienna Insurance Group, SHARP, YKK, Raiffeisenbank, Caparol. She is co-author of a number of publications on corporate and labour law and wrote many articles for Ukrainian and foreign periodicals.

Attorney-at-law Dmytro Gadomsky is a legal expert for litigation, including criminal cases, and intellectual property rights. He supervises projects related to tax disputes, complex debts collection, assets tracing in Ukraine, IT offences and copyright protection in the Internet. He is responsible for provision of legal services to IT companies.  

Just before joining Arzinger’s team Dmytro worked at the Kyiv office of Deloitte and consulted there foreign and Ukrainian clients on taxation of IP rights, worked on big M&A deals involving information technology assets and on complex projects of large Ukrainian bank institutions regarding toxic assets restructuring. His vast litigation experience as lawyer comes from his work experience at the Ukrainian law firm Salkom where he was in charge of the intellectual property practice.
