On 15-17 February 2012 a group of German entrepreneurs operating in the fields of medicine and healthcare was on a business in Ukraine. Arzinger Law Office was among the partners of the group. As part of the event trAIDe Health 2012 held on 16 February 2012 representatives of German companies conducted bilateral negotiations with potential Ukrainian partners.

The German companies that participated in the trip are still not represented on the Ukrainian market. That is why the purpose of their trip was establishing business contacts with Ukrainian partners – importers, distributors, trade structures and representatives.

Given the above, the speech on the legal basis of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine made by Arzinger’s Senior Associate Svitlana Postrygan, during the briefing trAIDe Health 2012 was exceptionally topical and highly interesting for the representatives of German companies. In her report Svitlana considered the pros and cons of investing in Ukraine. She paid much attention to a detailed review of the regulatory basis of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market. In her speech Svitlana managed to accumulate the knowledge necessary for investors willing to enter the new market.
