Arzinger supported law students in a major francophone competition

Arzinger supported the students of the National University “Kyiv-MohylaAcademy” who aspired to take part in the Charles Rousseau Competition onInternational Public Law and were the team’s principal sponsor as part of itscharity program. This year was the first time that Ukraine was represented in afrancophone moot court, which took place on April 26 – May 24 in Bucharest,Romania. Arzinger demonstrated again the importance of French vector in itsactivities and expressed its commitment to the development of French languageskills among the young Ukrainian lawyers.
The team of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy included Artem Grudinin, KarolinaZhytnikova, Maksym Popovych, Anna Scherbak, students of Legal SciencesDepartment, and their coach Sergiy Petukhov. Though it was the first timea Ukrainian team participated in the competition, the guys received the PrixKatia-Boustany for the second place in the overall ranking.
Charles Rousseau Competition in International Public Law in honor of one ofthe most famous authors of the French post-war international law doctrine wasfirst held in 1985. The competition is organized by Réseau francophone de droitinternational (RFDI), which aims at facilitating the study of international lawin French, in particular by holding international competitions and contests.
