Arzinger supports the Italian Investor F.I.S.I. RED by acquisition of the majority interest in the wind park developer Eco-Optima. Eco-Optima has developed a project in West Ukraine, city Staryi Sambir, but needed a strategic partner and foreign capital for purchase of turbines and erection of the wind park. EBRD has provided EUR 13.3 million through the credit program USELF as financing for the project. Its strategic partner Eco-Optima has found in F.I.S.I. RED.

This is primarily caused by overall framework conditions in Ukraine; often the projects themselves show serious defects which make them non-bankable.
