Globyno and Yaresky sugar plants in Poltava region and Zhdanivsky plant in Vinnytsa region started a sugar production campaign. Till the end of the first decade of September other sugar plants controlled by the Group will set in the sugar production process.

The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of raw material are on the highest level. The average weigh of the sugar beet root is 10% higher as to compare with the previous year. The dynamics of weight and sugar content growth significantly exceeds prior year indicators.

Therefore, current situation confirms the actuality of the management guidance regarding expected level of sugar production of 350 ths. tonns in 2011.
