Asters acted for Wizz Air Ukraine Airlines LLC (Wizz Air Ukraine) in connection with the leasing of a newly-built Airbus A320-200 aircraft by the company.
Fleet operated by Wizz Air Ukraine is the most efficient and environmentally friendly one in Ukrainian market. The delivery of the third Airbus A320 helps Wizz Air Ukraine to reduce fuel consumption, invest in innovative technologies and environmental protection, and to further lower air fares in Ukrainian market.
Asters' work on the transaction included reviewing the transaction documents, preparing a legal opinion for the aircraft owner, advising on and implementing the registration of international interest in the aircraft, counseling on other matters of the Cape Town Convention application and enforcement in Ukraine.
