On 23 May 2014 Yuridicheskaya Praktika Weekly's Legal Awards (regarded as Ukraine's Legal Oscar) distinguished Ukraine's best lawyers and law firms for the last 12 months. Asters has been shortlisted in 11 nominations and won three awards: the Law Firm of the Year, the Law Firm of the Year in Energy Practice and the Best Lawyer of the Year in Antitrust/Competition Practice (partner Igor Svechkar). Asters was also nominated for the Law Firm of the Year in Competitions, Media and Telecommunications, Real Estate, Problem Assets and Labor and Employment Practices, while Iryna Pokanay was a nominee for the Best Lawyer in Banking and Finance.
